During our lives it is likely that we will each bump up against fear, pain, discomfort and confusion. These difficult times are inevitable, they’re part of our human experience. Sometimes we are able to sort them out on our own, and sometimes we can lean on those close to us to get us through.
Every now and then there are times when we just need a little extra support from someone with an outside perspective, helping us see our options more clearly and the path that will take us in the direction we want to go. Sometimes we may even need a lot of support.
If now is one of those times, I would be honored assist you. My name is Alison and I am a therapist providing psychotherapy and counseling in Seattle, centrally located in the Madison Valley neighborhood.
While many people come to see me with specific concerns, others just know they are experiencing a discomfort; a sense that something is lacking or not working and they haven’t been able to sort it out on their own.
I am open, caring and nonjudgmental. Our work together will be an interactive and supportive process where you can grieve, grow, laugh and celebrate as you move towards healing and change.

My office is located in Seattle’s Madison Valley neighborhood next to the arboretum and the 520 bridge with easy bus access and plenty of free parking. I offer both weekday afternoon and evening hours.
